Man in his 30s is killed on Sunday morning in crash near Doncaster

A man in his 30s has died in a fatal car accident involving a Ferrari. The £250,000 supercar veered off the A630 in Armthorpe, near Doncaster, at 8:50 am yesterday and collided with a tree. A member of the public alerted the South Yorkshire Police, who arrived at the scene shortly after. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, and the police are yet to identify him.

The police are now appealing to witnesses to the accident as they begin their investigation. According to reports, the roof of the car appears to have collapsed as the car was flipped upside-down, and the boot was ripped off, exposing the twin-turbo V8 engines. The £250,000 Ferrari was winched from the scene during the day yesterday.

In a statement released on Sunday, a police spokesman said that officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or was driving in the area at the time and has dashcam footage, which captured the vehicle before the collision. The force has urged anyone with information to contact them online or by calling 101. The investigation is ongoing.
