During a fight at an east London party, a man in his 30s is stabbed to death.

A murder inquiry has been opened after a man was stabbed to death in the early hours of this morning during a fight at a party.

When a brawl broke out shortly after midnight in Woodford Green, east London, a man in his 30s was repeatedly knifed at a venue.

When paramedics arrived, they discovered a man with stab wounds. They attempted to revive the victim, but he died on the spot.

According to the Met Police, no arrests have been made yet, and the area surrounding the party is still blocked off.

A murder investigation has been initiated, and a post-mortem will be conducted to determine the official cause of death.

When the brawl broke out at around 12.10 a.m., police stated a big number of revellers were present at the gathering in Chigwell Road.

The Met Police’s Detective Chief Inspector Laurence Smith today appealed to anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.

‘This man was attacked at a party, and we know a significant number of people were in attendance,’ he said.

‘I would urge anyone who is yet to speak with us to come forward and let us know what you saw.

‘It is possible that events leading up to the stabbing, and perhaps the murder itself, were captured on people’s phones.

‘Please take a look and call us. It is vital that we establish what happened.’

Officers are still trying to track down the victim’s family to tell them about the tragedy, the Met Police added.
