Kamara won’t be travelling to Kaizer Chiefs for trials

Kamara won’t be travelling to Kaizer Chiefs for trials, contrary to some reports, it was recently discovered.

According to certain rumours, Kamara’s team, Bo Rangers, may have been hanging onto his passport.

The club has now rejected this and reiterated that no other party has contacted them about Kamara.

However, Kamara said in a startling interview with KickOff.com that he was supposed to travel to South Africa on July 14 to undergo medicals but that the arrangement was scuttled by important club figures.

From Freetown, Sierra Leone, Kamara informed KickOff that “someone ruined the transaction for me.”

They “spoiled everything” by calling Kaizer Chiefs and complaining to them about me.

“Among these individuals are the club’s chairman (Bo Rangers), where I played here in Sierra Leone, and a few FA employees who held my passport.

When the chance arose, I spoke with the people who had seized my passport and showed them my ticket because I had to go right away.

They returned the passport to me.

“I was supposed to travel to South Africa for medical exams and other procedures, but they baulked at insisting that I participate in the CHAN qualifier instead.

They contacted Kaizer Chiefs after that and said a lot of derogatory things, ruining everything.

I had the ticket purchased by Kaizer Chiefs, but it has already been cancelled.

“I must now wait for a different opportunity.”

Kamara also argued that he should be allowed to join any club of his choosing because he does not have a legally binding contract with Rangers.

“Even if they don’t want me to leave, these folks won’t give me what I want.

They’ll give me very little cash.

I must proceed since there is no money for Sierra Leone football.

Considering that I now have a passport, they won’t prevent me from travelling again.

Since the Chiefs cancelled my travel, I haven’t heard anything from them, Kamara continued.

Musa Kamara, the striker for Bo Rangers, will not be joining Kaizer Chiefs, according to Babadi Kamara, the club’s chairman, who spoke with NO KAMARA FOR CHIEFS #UNPLAYABLE this morning.

Bo Rangers, the champions of Sierra Leone, have released a statement regarding Musa Kamara, who is anticipated to travel to Kaizer Chiefs for trials.

The PK Boys have stated categorically that Kamara is still their player and that no club has contacted them to express interest in signing Kamara. pic.twitter.com/9g4ApOA6jf

The ‘off-season’ has been hectic for the Chiefs.

The Week 1 schedule for the 2022–23 DStv Premiership has just been revealed, and Soweto powerhouses Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates will face challenging opponents to open their PSL seasons.

Not only Amakhosi and the Buccaneers, but also the defending champion Mamelodi Sundowns, have had rocky starts to their seasons.

In a challenging away match, Kaizer Chiefs will take on Shauwn “MaMkhize” Mkhize’s Royal AM.

It will be a significant test for Arthur Zwane and Dillon Sheppard, the Glamour Boys’ new coaching duo, who hope to demonstrate that their revamped Amakhosi club is a significantly improved unit this season.

The club recently produced a film displaying the procedures and plans that have been carried out.

The Glamour Boys recently reported for duty at the end of June 2022 for their pre-season preparations.
