Five occupants of a white Nissan Almera were injured after the vehicle they were travelling in overturned on the M27

This afternoon on the M27 near the Waterloo Spar in Waterloo, KZN, five people were hurt when the white Nissan Almera they were riding in overturned (Monday).

At around 19:39, members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on the scene and discovered the car resting on its top.

When he lost control of the vehicle and it crashed, the driver told Reaction Officers that he was traveling from Empangeni, KZN, to Riet River near Verulam.

The crash left the five occupants with minor to moderate wounds.
