Julie Chrisley feels apprehensive over the future.

In November, the “Chrisley Knows Best” performer and her husband were sentenced to a total of 19 years in jail for fraud and tax evasion.

And just days before the two are scheduled to report to their respective Florida prisons on January 17, Julie Chrisley expressed her concerns about the new standard.

Julie Chrisley contrasted her situation to that of Emmy Medders’s mother, who is her husband’s full-time caregiver as he lives with ALS, in the most recent episode of Chrisley Confessions (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis).

The couple’s prison terms differed, with Todd receiving the greater time.

“There is a possibility that my husband and I will separate,” said Julie Chrisley. “However, there is a distinction between my husband and I being temporarily separated and having to say goodbye forever.”

“It’s almost embarrassing that I’m even anxious. Unless the Lord intervenes, [your mother] will have to bid farewell to her husband, and she will not see him again this side of paradise,” the 49-year-old stated.

Julie Chrisley was handed a sentence of seven years in prison, whereas Todd Chrisley received a sentence of 12 years in prison and 16 months of probation. Additionally, she will serve 16 months on probation after her release from prison.

Emmy Medders and Chase Chrisley are a couple. Medders is the host of Chrisley Confessions, a podcast.

“It puts things in perspective for me because we all believe our hardship to be the most difficult.” You have the right to feel the way you feel,” she added.

Julie Chrisley stated that, in an attempt to cope with her new reality, she is moving her attention to her future following her release from prison.

Recalling a friend’s advise that “the tears you shed are sowing the seeds for your future,” the reality TV star stated that the adage “has been such a source of strength for me because I am not typically a crier and this entire experience has brought me to my knees.”

Todd Chrisley has not been as vocal as his wife about his impending prison sentence.

Todd, for his part, kept relatively silent regarding his future behind bars. During a recent episode of his “Chrisley Confessions” podcast, he refuted allegations that he is homosexual and that he had a passionate romance with his former business friend Mark Braddock.
