Inmate Todd Chrisley has “faith” that he and his wife Julie will receive justice

Both Todd and Julie Chrisley entered prison with “faith” in the administration of justice.

Prior to surrendering, the guilty reality stars spoke directly with their podcast listeners about their “hope” for a successful appeal.

During Wednesday’s episode of “Chrisley Confessions,” Todd, 53, said, “You just have to hope and pray to God that when one division of the judicial system fails, the next level, the appellate court, sees the mistakes and tries to correct them.”

He stated, “That is the best that you can hope for.” “You must also have faith in God and trust that He will lift you up and urge you forward. And this is what we are now doing.”

“The appellate court will see this for what it is,” Todd claimed in a podcast episode recorded by the couple before to their surrender, predicting that the appellate court will recognize the situation for what it was.

The father of “Chrisley Knows Best” continued by stating that his impending imprisonment was “not [his] final destination.”

“I am aware that this may be my future for a brief period of time, but I have faith in the judicial system,” he said. Additionally, I am convinced that the appellate court will see this for what it is.

Julie agreed and said, “This examination will become a testimony.”

The 50-year-old man remarked, “We do believe there is meaning in this suffering, and we do not believe this is the end of the road for us.” “We are barely scratching the surface of God’s will for our lives.”

Tuesday marked the start of the couple’s new existence behind bars.

Todd will spend the next twelve years at Camp Pensacola, a federal prison in Florida.

Julie, who was originally expected to spend the next seven years barely two hours away from her husband at Federal Correctional Institution Marianna, was relocated to Federal FMC Lexington in Kentucky at the end of last month.

Following their respective releases, each must serve a 16-month probationary period.

In August 2019, the Chrisleys were initially accused with fraud and tax evasion, then in February 2022, a second indictment was brought against them.

Prosecutors alleged that the couple “career con artists who made a living by hopping from one fraud scheme to the next, lying to banks, stiffing vendors, and evading taxes at every turn.”

They continue to maintain their innocence.

Todd’s former business colleague, Mark Braddock, has accused the Chrisleys of paying a blackmailer to keep Todd and Braddock’s alleged affair a secret. The Chrisleys have denied these allegations. In June 2022, the Chrisleys were found guilty concurrently with Braddock’s allegations.
