Friday, Jedidiah Duggar and his wife, Katey Nakatsu, announced they are expecting their second child.
The pair captioned a YouTube video, “We have been holding a big secret from our friends and family for the past couple of months.”
“We are thrilled to announce that our second child is expected in May [2023]!”
In the 13-minute movie, Duggar, 23, and Nakatsu, 24, appeared in front of the camera with beaming smiles.
“There is some news. Big news. This is the news, gentlemen,” Duggar announced as the camera panned across his wife’s hoodie, which read “Joy to the world. Oh, and I’m expecting!”

They then showed footage from the day after the pilot informed her husband that she had taken two pregnancy tests.
The first test returned with a faint line, but the second test clearly indicated that she was indeed pregnant.
The audience was then shown the moment the couple broke the news to their family members at their Christmas party.
The real estate agent chuckled and questioned, “Seriously? ” when the “Counting On” star had his father, Jim Bob Duggar, read his wife’s sweater. You are?”
The star of “19 Kids and Counting” and his wife revealed that their child is expected in May.
After Nakatsu informed the patriarch that their statement was not an April Fool’s Day prank, he joked, “Haven’t you just played one?”
Michelle, the mother of Jedidiah, had a similar reaction to her husband.
After reading the sweater of Nakatsu aloud, she said, “Oh, you’re pregnant. You’re pregnant!” before giving her son-in-law a massive embrace.
Michelle remarked, “What a great Christmas this has been.”
In September 2021, Jedidiah and Nakatsu announced on Instagram that they were expecting their first child together, a son called Truett Oliver Duggar.
However, the reality star and his wife were slammed for the reveal, as it made light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“She tested positive, but not for COVID,” wrote Jedidiah in the announcement’s description. “Thereafter, there were three baby Duggars.” Spring ’22.”
The “cringeworthy” caption has not changed.
Since April 2021, Jedidiah and Nakatsu have been married. They married after a year of dating.
