The actors Kit Harington and Rose Leslie are expecting their second child!
Harington, who portrayed Jon Snow in the blockbuster HBO series, announced their upcoming arrival on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” on Friday.
Early in 2021, Harington and Leslie, who is best known for her role as Ygritte on the HBO fantasy series, welcomed their first child, a baby boy.
Harington told Jimmy Fallon that their two-year-old son is “about to get the shock of his life” as he is ready to “get a brother or sister.”
“I’m terrified,” said Harington. “With the first child, the first nine months are like walking through clouds and dancing through fields of daisies”
“The reality check comes much more quickly the second time around,” acknowledges Harington. You get realistic real quick.”
When asked what his kid thinks of the new baby, Harington acknowledges that he has not “yet conceptually grasped it.”
“We’re preparing him by pointing to Rose’s stomach and saying, ‘Mommy’s baby.’” And he says, “My baby” while pointing to his stomach, Harington recounted.
In September 2020, Leslie, 35, and Harington, 36, announced that they were expecting a child. The actress’s pregnancy was disclosed when her baby belly appeared on the cover of the British publication Make.
Leslie told The Post in October 2020 that she was “thrilled to be expecting” when she discussed her impending motherhood.
“I can’t wait to meet our new family member,” she stated at the time.
From 2012 to 2014, Leslie played alongside her now-husband on “Game of Thrones.”
The couple made their red carpet debut at the 2016 Olivier Awards in London and announced their engagement in 2017.
After meeting on filming, the couple went on to wed in 2018 at Leslie’s ancestral castle in Scotland.
