Meghan Trainor is prepared for her second child.
Monday on “Today,” the singer announced that she is pregnant with her and her husband Daryl Sabara’s second child.
“We did it!” The 29-year-old singer screamed, “It finally happened, and we’re so excited!”
Prior to her appearance on the morning show, the Grammy winner teased her growing family on social media.
Sunday, Trainor uploaded a video of herself informing her family and friends “the secret [she’s] been keeping for the past few months”; however, the video did not divulge the nature of the mystery.
Her admirers expressed their anticipation in the comments area.
One fan responded, “It’s obviously that you’re pregnant haha but yay congrats,” while another gushed, “Baby number twoooooooo yay!!!!”
Numerous social media users observed that one of Trainor’s family members appeared to be carrying a sonogram in the music video.
The “Made You Look” artist and Sabara, 30, have a kid named Riley, who was born in February 2021. She wed the actor from “Spy Kids” in December 2018.
Trainor and Sabara became parents in February of 2021 with the birth of their son Riley.
Trainor told People last month that it was her “dream” to give her one-year-old child a sibling this year.
“I hope to become pregnant [in 2023]. In December 2022, she described her “goals”: “I’m trying to have four children, so I’d better get moving.”
Previously, in an interview with Us Weekly, the “All About That Bass” singer joked about her desire to “get pregnant.”
She told the publication in August 2022, “If I could have gotten pregnant months ago, I would have.” “We’re just busy, and I don’t want to feel nauseous while doing all of these enjoyable activities.”
Trainor said that she would “love a daughter” and planned to “eat acidic foods” to increase her chances of having a daughter.
