Heinz stops supply to Tesco following trade dispute over price inflation

As a result of a trade dispute over price rises, Heinz goods have been removed off Tesco’s shelves.

The grocery operator has said that it “would not pass on unjustified pricing rises” to its patrons.

Many cherished Heinz items are currently unavailable since it is thought that Kraft Heinz, the company that produces Heinz products, has suspended supplies to the shop.

Family favorites include Beanz 4x415g, Sticky Barbecue Sauce 500g, Salad Cream 605g, Baked Beans & Pork Sausages 200g, Snap Pots 4x200g, Beanz No Added Sugar 4x415g, and Chicken Noodle Soup 400g are reportedly not available on the retailer’s website.

With its mix of Aldi Price Match, Low Everyday Prices, and Clubcard Prices, Tesco, according to a spokeswoman for the company, offers consumers outstanding value while keeping the cost of the weekly buy in control.

A Kraft Heinz spokesman also suggested price had been at the heart of the issue.
