Heinz products have been stripped from Tesco as the supermarket chain stands firm that it ‘will not pass on unjustifiable price increases’ to its customers

As a result of a trade dispute over price rises, Heinz goods have been removed from Tesco’s shelves.

The grocery operator recently said that it “would not pass on unjustified pricing rises” to its patrons.

Many cherished Heinz products are currently unavailable since it is thought that Kraft Heinz, the company that produces Heinz products, has suspended supplies to the retailer.

Family favorites include Beanz 4x415g, Sticky Barbecue Sauce 500g, Salad Cream 605g, Baked Beans & Pork Sausages 200g, Snap Pots 4x200g, Beanz No Added Sugar 4x415g, and Chicken Noodle Soup 400g are reportedly not available on the retailer’s website.

With its combination of Aldi Price Match, Low Everyday Prices, and Clubcard Prices, Tesco, according to a spokeswoman for the company, offers customers outstanding value while keeping the cost of the weekly buy in check.

A spokeswoman for Kraft Heinz added that the problem had allegedly been centered around price.

He claimed that many consumers are living on tight budgets due to the “difficult economic environment” and rising commodity and production expenses.

We constantly consider how we can offer value through price, size, and packing so that customers can enjoy the items they know and trust at a price point that works within their budgets without sacrificing quality, he continued.

According to Kraft Heinz, it was “confident in a positive settlement” and “working closely with Tesco to resolve the matter as swiftly as possible.”
