Kraft Heinz is recalling thousands of Capri Sun pouches after cleaning solution accidently mixed with the juice

In the United States, Kraft Heinz is recalling tens of thousands of Capri Sun pouches after a cleaning solution accidently mingled with the juice during manufacture.

About 5,760 cases of Capri Sun Wild Cherry-flavored juice mix are being recalled, according to the manufacturer. The “Best When Used By” date printed on the packaging is June 25, 2023.

Yesterday, Kraft Heinz reported using a diluted cleaning solution on their food processing equipment. Affected are only items sold in the United States.

The company stated that it discovered the solution had accidentally been mixed with the juice after receiving consumer complaints about its flavour.

Co-headquartered in Pittsburgh and Chicago, Kraft Heinz said in a statement released on Friday that it is working with merchants to remove the product from circulation.

The contaminated Capri Sun should not be consumed and should be returned to the retailer where it was purchased for a full refund.

More than two million popular children’s swings and rockers were recalled yesterday after a crawling 10-month-old infant died after being trapped in the hanging straps.

The products are being recalled due to the risk of infants who are crawling becoming entangled in the straps that hang beneath the seats when they are not in use.

According to a notification made by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission and Thorley Industries, another infant had neck injuries before being rescued by a caregiver.

The recall includes two million MamaRoo swings and 220,000 RockaRoo rockers offered by Thorley’s 4moms brand at BuyBuy Baby, Target, 4moms.com, and Amazon.com.

The goods, ranging in price from $160 to $250, were sold from January 2010 to August 2022 prior to the August 15 recall.

The CPSC reported that an additional 60,000 MamaRoo swings and 10,000 RockaRoo rockers were marketed in Canada.
