Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter Angie Stone will perform at the festival’s return

Angie Stone, a Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter, will perform for the fans as the DStv Delicious International Food and Music Festival makes a comeback after a two-year hiatus.

On September 24 and 25, over the Heritage Day weekend, Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit will host the lifestyle event experience not to be missed.

The iconic vocalist came to stardom in the late 1970s as a member of the hip-hop duo “The Sequence”. In the early 1990s, she became a member of the R&B duo “Vertical Hold”.

In 1999, she debuted her solo debut project named Black Diamond and she has since been releasing hit after success like “No More Rain,” “Wish I Didn’t Miss You,” and “More Than A Woman”.

Nissi will join her older brother Burna Boy, a worldwide sensation, R&B veteran Babyface, and the Digable Planets, an American hip hop group.

On the lineup are other well-known local performers including Simphiwe Dana, Zenzi Makeba Lee, Lebo Mashile, Msaki, Stereo MCs, G-Force, Major League DJz, Mdu, Kabelo Mabalane, Thebe, Arthur, Trompies, and Dino Bravo.

The fun doesn’t stop there, though. Head to the Channel O Drip Stage to party until you drop to the beats of artists like Mellow & Sleazy, Mr. JazzIQ, Blxckie, Kamo Mphela, and DBN Gogo performing amapiano and rap. It will be amazing!

“Through our relationship with Massive Music, DStv is thrilled to be able to expand the DStv Rewards offer once again, with access to festival tickets,” said Nyiko Shiburi, CEO of MultiChoice South Africa.

“It was fantastic to see the swift ticket demand after the phase 1 announcement, demonstrating a desire for people to begin taking part in concerts and other leisure activities. This year’s DStv Delicious promises to be the finest one yet with the two-year gap and the impressive local and international line-up!
