Grammy award-winning singer Kelly Clarkson has opened up on how her bitter divorce from ex-husband Brandon Black affected her career

Grammy-winning singer Kelly Clarkson has discussed how her career was impacted by her acrimonious split from ex-husband Brandon Black.

On Wednesday’s episode of “The Global Chart Show with Brooke Reese” on Apple Music, Clarkson revealed this discovery.

Everyone is aware of the difficult divorce I underwent, which took place two years ago and wasn’t simple with children, the woman remarked.

When questioned about her upcoming record, Clarkson discussed how the divorce affected her professional life.

She explained, “I’m simply managing what I’m comfortable releasing. It’s therefore challenging to traverse.

It’s on the way. I simply need to get my act together. I simply need to decide what I’m going to release. I’ve never worked on a project this challenging.

After more than 500 covers since 2019, Clarkson, who hasn’t created non-holiday music since 2017, just released a “Kellyoke” EP based on the popular portion of her daytime talk show, “The Kelly Clarkson Show.”

The EP contains six studio renditions of well-known Kellyoke covers, including Whitney Houston’s “Queen of the Night” and Billie Ellish’s “Happier Than Ever.”

After almost seven years of marriage, she filed for divorce from Blackstock in June 2020; however, it wasn’t finalized until March 2022.

In the same month, she also officially changed her name to Kelly Brianne. She stated to People Magazine at the time that she had to drop her marriage last name because she had recently divorced.

“I simply continued using my middle name in my personal life. Kelly Clarkson still exists, she affirmed.
