The Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter Angie Stone will perform when the DStv Delicious International Food and Music Festival returns following a two-year absence.
On September 24 and 25, the not-to-be-missed lifestyle event will take place at Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit during the Heritage Day weekend.
The iconic singer rose to prominence as a member of the hip-hop group The Sequence in the late 1970s. She became a member of the R&B group Vertical Hold in the early 1990s.
Her solo first album, Black Diamond, was published in 1999, and since then she has launched hit after hit, including “No More Rain,” “Wish I Didn’t Miss You,” and “More Than A Woman.”
Nissi Ogulu, a Nigerian Afrobeat star, has been added to the list of renowned performers at this year’s festival.
Nissi will join her older brother, the international superstar Burna Boy, the R&B veteran Babyface, and the American hip hop group Digable Planets.
On the bill are also local artists Simphiwe Dana, Zenzi Makeba Lee, Lebo Mashile, Msaki, Stereo MCs, G-Force, Major League DJz, Mdu, Kabelo Mabalane, Thebe, Arthur, Trompies, and Dino Bravo.
The celebration continues on the Channel O Drip Stage, where you can dance till you drop to amapiano and rap performed by Mellow & Sleazy, Mr JazzIQ, Blxckie, Kamo Mphela, and DBN Gogo, among others. It will be truly amazing!
