At FCI Tallahassee, Maxwell, who previously had an opulent lifestyle and counted Prince Andrew and Bill Clinton among her pals, is paid a pitiful 15 to 27 cents an hour.

According to prison advisors, Maxwell will do short-term tasks like handling payroll or monitoring water meters before being allocated a long-term task like cleaning toilets, baths, or dishes.

The day starts for Maxwell and Novack at five in the morning when the lights go on. Lunch is provided at 10.30am, while breakfast is given at 6am. These early times allow the kitchen to feed the whole population.
