Ghislaine Maxwell has become “obsessed” with softball as she prepares to occupy herself for the next two decades in the Florida prison she will call home.
The 60-year-old disgraced British socialite enjoys the sport so much that she has begun representing her prison wing in competitive games.
The kid sex trafficker has been dubbed “Dottie” by the inmates, after the character from the baseball film A League of Their Own.
In Florida’s Tallahassee jail, where Maxwell is serving a 20-year sentence, the lockdown has just been relaxed, allowing inmates additional recreation time.
A prison source told the Mirror that Ghislaine is extremely popular with the female inmates. She is really outgoing.

She began interacting with others immediately and engaging in a variety of activities. She nearly won musical chairs one day, when she was down to the final two chairs.
However, her passion for softball appears to be the one she enjoys the most. When there is a game, Ghislaine desires to participate. When she entered the field, her nickname was Dottie. It adhered.’
Although she had attended the most extravagant gatherings and socialized with the likes of Prince Andrew and Bill Clinton, she is now a major member of the softball team for her B South unit, which defeated the A South unit and another wing.

Maxwell spends her time when not playing softball jogging behind the barbed-wire gate of the Florida prison.
Maxwell, 60, has been spotted running slowly across the yard of the Federal Correctional Institute in Tallahassee, Florida, while wearing a prison-issued grey sweater and matching shorts.
She will spend the next two decades in the same barbed-wire facility for grooming children so that her lover Jeffrey Epstein could sexually abuse them hundreds of times over a decade-long period.
Maxwell, who has been ridiculed for complaining about jail conditions, has been granted permission to go outside by prison officials, and she spends approximately 40 minutes running on the four-lane track.
The Mirror was informed by a prison source that Gislaine is exceptionally fit. When she is not jogging on the track, she walks with one of her friends nearly every day.
“For her age, she is extraordinarily energetic, completing circuit after lap without stopping for forty minutes before she must return inside.
She is delighted to be allowed back into the wide air, where she enjoys a sense of independence.
As there is no release for federal prison, Maxwell will certainly serve her entire 20-year sentence in the facility, which has a softball field and pristine gardens. For her good behavior, she could perhaps be freed from prison a few years early.
During her trial, Maxwell complained about being placed in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, where she complained about the quality of the food and feeling lonely.
The disgraced socialite was found guilty of playing a significant part in assisting Epstein, who committed suicide in 2019 while awaiting trial, to sexually abuse minors hundreds of times over more than a decade, targeting vulnerable females as young as 14.
