Former “Teen Mom” star Ryan Edwards has been arrested again for stalking his estranged wife, Mackenzie Edwards, and violating a protective order.
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office released a statement confirming the arrest occurred in the afternoon, but no further details were revealed.
This recent arrest comes only a month after Ryan was taken into custody for harassing Mackenzie, possessing drug paraphernalia, possessing a controlled substance, and violating an order of protection. Mackenzie claimed that Ryan had been abusive towards her and went to the police to detail a series of alleged domestic violence incidents since they married in 2017.
According to Mackenzie, during a January fight, Ryan punched holes in the walls and doors, held her up by the neck, threw her down in a hallway, and said if he could not have her, no one could.
He even threatened her with a knife and threw her down the stairs. A week later, he allegedly broke the bed with her in it and got in her face yelling.
He then threw menthol nicotine in her eyes, preventing her from leaving with their children.
Mackenzie has since filed for divorce from Ryan and was granted a restraining order and temporary custody of their children. Ryan initially rose to fame when he appeared on “16 & Pregnant” with Maci Bookout. The two share a 14-year-old son, Bentley. Since then, Ryan has battled addiction and has been in trouble with the law multiple times, including arrests for violating probation on a heroin-related charge and possession of heroin.
