Emergency: Horrific collision leaves three persons dead at Clairwood

A tragic crash on the M4 southbound at the Clairwood offramp has claimed the lives of three persons.

When ALS Paramedics Medical arrived on the scene, it was complete chaos.

The car had reportedly broken down due to a flat tyre, and while the three guys were changing the tyre, a truck allegedly crashed with the vehicle and the three men.

The three males, believed to be in their thirties, suffered serious injuries, and paramedics were unable to save them; they were pronounced dead on the site.

The truck driver was not hurt in the accident.

The events leading up to the collision are unknown at this time, but SAPS were on the scene and will continue their investigation.
