Kyrgyzstan, India agree to strengthen cultural exchange

BISHKEK, 13th June, 2022 (WAM) — Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of Kyrgyzstan Azamat Zhamankulov has met with the Minister of State for External Affairs of the Republic of India concurrently the State Minister of Culture Menakshi Lekhi.

During the meeting, a conversation took place on relevant issues of cooperation, the Kyrgyz National News Agency (Kabar) quoted the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

The sides discussed the exchange of creative delegations and tourism exhibitions and agreed to consider the possibility of holding a Bollywood festival in Kyrgyzstan.

Following the meeting, the ministers signed the programme between the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Culture of the Government of the Republic of India on cultural exchange.
