Elon Musk earns BILLIONS and is closing in on the world’s richest man

In terms of personal net wealth, Elon Musk, born in South Africa, will not look back on 2022 with much affection, BUT…

Nonetheless, the 51-year-old from Pretoria has had a tremendously better start to 2023.

According to The South African website, Musk entered the Guinness World Records as the first individual in history to lose that much of money when he lost $200 billion late last year.

NOT the type of record desired!

Musk also lost his position as the world’s wealthiest individual.

Elon Musk has acquired a cool $36.5 billion to his net worth this year, putting him at No. 2 in this ranking after exactly four weeks of 2023.

That is equivalent to R625 billion!

His current net worth is $174 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, a daily ranking of the world’s wealthiest individuals.

France’s Bernard Arnault remains the world’s richest person, ‘just’ $19 billion ahead of Elon Musk, with Amazon founder Jeff Bezos rounding out the top three.

Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Larry Ellison, Larry Page, Sergey Brin, Steve Ballmer, and Carlos Slim round out the top 10, in order.

Below are the world’s top 10 wealthiest individuals as of 3 February 2023.
