Detectives release CCTV in an appeal for information about a Kallangur armed robbery last month (December)

Petrie Criminal Investigation Branch detectives have released CCTV footage in an appeal for information in connection to an armed robbery that happened in Kallangur last month (December).

On December 24, about 7.30 p.m., two persons armed with what seemed to be weapons entered an Anzac Avenue shop and threatened an employee.

The suspects fled the area on foot after stealing a safe and a number of cigarette items.

They dashed towards Brewer Street, where they boarded a black utility vehicle going towards the east.

The police have released CCTV footage of two persons who may be able to help with the inquiry.

Anyone with information or dashcam/CCTV footage connected to the event or the vehicle involved is requested to contact police.
