West Mercia Police has now released a CCTV image of a teenage girl officers believe ‘may have information about the murder’ of man, 53, knifed to death outside Asda

Police investigating the stabbing death of a gifted musician outside an Asda have made a CCTV image of a teenage girl public because they think she may have important information on the killers.

Following an incident that occurred on March 8 at around 8:00 p.m., Ian Kirwan, 53, was fatally stabbed outside the supermarket in Redditch, Worcestershire.

Despite the efforts of a paramedic who was not on duty and an off-duty nurse, the software engineer was declared dead at the scene.

A CCTV image of a teen girl who police believe “may have information about the murder” has now been made public by West Mercia Police. She is not thought to have participated in the incident directly.

The women traveled by train on Tuesday, March 8 from Selly Oak to Redditch around 6.30 p.m., according to a force spokesperson.

She has long golden or brown hair and is characterized as being white.

She was carrying a cream fabric shopping bag and was dressed in a black pair of pants and a cream or stone colored coat.

Anyone with information that might be able to identify this woman is urged to contact authorities.

Five teenagers from south Birmingham who cannot be identified legally have been accused of killing Mr. Kirwan.

They appeared at Worcester Crown Court last month, where an initial trial date of November 7 of this year was set for a six-week trial.

Mr. Kirwan had survived a stroke, and his bereaved family remembered him as “gentle and caring.”

They declared in a press release that they were “utterly devastated” by Ian’s passing. He was a warm, loving person who cherished his relationships with family and friends.

Anyone who knew him would have recognized his intelligence, humility, and willingness to help those in need.

Ian had the warmest, silliest, and most ridiculous sense of humor, which you couldn’t help but adore and find amusing.

He provided the nicest bear hugs that made you feel safe, cherished, and protected, and he brought immense comfort to people around him.

He was a true homebody who loved nothing more than spending time with his wife, family, and close friends. He had a joyful and fulfilling home life.

Nobody ever imagines losing someone in such a horrific, unnecessary, and senseless way.

The love and support we have received are assisting us in our efforts to try to find a way to work through this terrible tragedy, but there is a hole that has been left in our lives that can never be filled.

He will do anything for anyone, said Aunt Maureen Haycocks, age 77. He would be the one to stop if someone were to collapse on the side of the road.

“To me, he was like a son.” Simply put, we are all devastated.

She explained how her nephew had stopped at a B&Q to pick up a few supplies before heading over to Asda, the location of the tragic attack.

“Some cruel people have his life, and for what?” Ms. Haycocks said. encountering them? He probably would have apologized, but they went after him regardless.

They appeared to be on a mission, I thought. It might have been someone else if Ian hadn’t been there.
