A young woman was rushed to the hospital following claims of a rape in the city center of Liverpool, as police published a CCTV photograph of a guy they wish to talk with.
Sunday, January 29, at approximately 5.30 p.m., the victim reported a severe sexual assault at a location on Victoria Street.
The woman was transported to a hospital following the arrival of police at the site. She is receiving assistance from specialized officers.
Detectives have confirmed that an investigation has begun, along with CCTV and witness inquiries.
The police in Merseyside have issued a photograph of a guy they believe may have information that will aid the investigation.
Detective Inspector Laura Lamping stated, ‘We believe the individual depicted may have significant information to aid our investigation, so if you know him, please contact us immediately.
