Celebrity weight loss guru and heiress Savannah Daisley allegedly raped a 14-year-old boy

Police claim that a hidden phone tap shows celebrity weight loss expert and heiress Savannah Daisley attempting to intimidate the 14-year-old kid she is accused of raping.

Approximately three weeks after telling his mother about the alleged sex activities in June, police prosecutor Sergeant Kerry-Ann McKinnon testified at Downing Centre Local Court on Monday that the covert phone call was recorded on the same day Ms Daisley was arrested.

Just over a year has passed since the police allege that Ms. Daisley had four instances of intoxicated intercourse with the youngster in one day.

“This wasn’t an impulsive action. According to Sgt. McKinnon, who spoke about the call, which is subject to a suppression order and cannot be disclosed, “there are some disclosures made concerning feelings prior to this.”

And there are regrets. She tries to place the blame somewhere else.

‘She makes the implication that it was mutual and discusses the possible outcomes.

She is making this kid feel guilty. Reminds the youngster of the terms of the deal about confidentiality.

It is described as being “put in a type of story-like, fairytale environment” where it will “go away and never come back.”

Ms. Daisley, who “often blacked out due to alcohol she consumed,” claimed in the conversation that the alleged activities “should be consigned to the depths of the ocean in a chest,” according to Magistrate Alison Viney.

On June 27, 2018, when police successfully sought for a listening device warrant and the kid called Ms Daisley, Ms Viney described the intercepted call as “a really frightening telephone discussion.”

The boy and the Instagram influencer allegedly had sex four times in a 24-hour period starting at 5 p.m. on May 19, 2021, according to the police.

The call was made when Daisley, 45, sought bail on Monday afternoon.

He had been charged with four charges of aggravated sexual contact with a child between the ages of 14 and 16 and had been remanded in custody last month.

Despite dressing in prison garb, Ms. Daisley looked elegant and tense as her attorney, Gabrielle Bashir, pleaded for her release on bail, citing her ‘deteriorating’ mental health while imprisoned in Australia’s harshest women’s prison.

Ms. Bashir said that Ms. Daisley, who is a prisoner at the western Sydney prison for women called Silverwater Women’s Correctional Centre, ran the risk of losing “millions of dollars” from her business while confined.

The founder of Smart Cleanse, who uses celebrity endorsements to market her 14-day detox programmes around the world, is currently “rebranding” a product, putting her parents’ sizeable investments in the company at risk.

Ms. Bashir informed the court on Monday that Ms. Daisley’s mother had ovarian cancer and that if she is granted bail, her family will put up $100,000 as a surety.

Gabrielle Bashir informed the court that a magistrate had been misinformed that the accused offences carried a maximum sentence of 14 years, when in fact it was only 12 years, at an earlier, unsuccessful bail application earlier this month.

She claimed that Ms. Daisley’s “deteriorating mental health in custody,” the fact that she was scheduled to testify in an AVO case against her ex-partner James Wallis, and the fact that further imprisonment would cost her wellness company “millions of dollars” were the reasons she made these arguments.

Ross Daisley, a well-known horse breeder who raced the legendary thoroughbred Choisir at Royal Ascot, attended his daughter’s appearance in court on Monday.

He had earlier offered to post a $10,000 bond to get his kid back.

Ms. Daisley is a wealthy businesswoman and the creator of Smart Cleanse, a 14-day regimen of pills and supplements that claims to purify users’ bodies, reduce stress, lose weight, and “reverse ageing.”

Since Ms. Daisley signed agreements with Mr. Vitamin in 2020 and the world’s largest retailer of dietary supplements in 2018, her goods are now available all around Australia.

Jodi Gordon, the star of Neighbours, appeared in a video testimonial for Smart Cleanse in June 2021, praising the programme as her “health and beauty secret.”

She founded the firm in 2014 and rapidly gained a celebrity following.

Normally, Daisley lives in a riverfront estate worth $10 million on the city’s lower north coast, 20 kilometres from Silverwater prison.

Magistrate Viney informed Ms. Daisley that she was not the only prisoner who believed that if they were released, they would be better able to manage their mental health difficulties.

“There are an incredibly big number of people with extraordinarily complex needs after a life of trauma in courtroom after courtroom,” Ms. Viney said.

The system would collapse and everyone would be freed, if this were to be taken for granted.

She ultimately chose to grant Ms. Daisley bail, with the tight requirements that she turn in her passport and maintain a distance from the accused adolescent victim and any other witnesses.

As his daughter, Ms. Daisley, was given bail in court, the magistrate was congratulated and a round of applause from the audience erupted.

As she awaits her child sex case trial, Ms. Daisley will have to reside with her parents and report to Moss Vale police station.

The intercepted call and the prosecution’s “extremely strong case,” according to Sgt. McKinnon, may result in Ms. Daisley serving up to 12 years in prison for each accused offence.
