Having given birth to her son, Lucky Levi, two years ago, Elle King stated that she is now half the size she was during her pregnancy, although she didn’t disclose her current weight. During her pregnancy, she experienced severe depression and exhaustion. Overcoming postpartum depression, she gradually introduced exercise into her routine to combat her feelings. Starting with gentle movements and light cardio, she began to feel physically and mentally stronger. She reflected on the importance of self-acceptance and self-care, sharing that some days she counts stretch marks while on others she thanks her body. She stressed the significance of being healthy over merely focusing on weight loss. In December, Elle had a fall resulting in a concussion and amnesia. She has since undergone physical therapy for recovery.
Elle expressed her gratitude for the supportive community in Nashville, where she resides with her fiancé, Dan Tooker, and their son. Despite having lived in various cities, she found a unique sense of community in Nashville that she hadn’t experienced before. Elle King and Dan Tooker welcomed their son Lucky Levi in September 2021 and got engaged in October 2020 after a year of dating.
