Following his first-round knockout of rapper Priddy Ugly on Saturday at the Sun Arena in Pretoria, Cassper Nyovest is ready to find an opponent for his upcoming Celeb City boxing performance.
Nyovest challenged AKA, Big Zulu and requested that Naak Musiq return to the ring immediately following the bout.
In an interview with eNCA last week, he stated, “I absolutely want to fight AKA. So until he gets the courage to do it, I’ll fight everyone else.”
So who are the others? This roster supposedly includes the Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Burna Boy, who recently performed at the DStv Delicious International Food and Music Festival in South Africa.
When someone suggested Burna Boy would be a suitable opponent, Nyovest responded, “I don’t think he even has time to consider coming in the ring.”
“This guy’s music career is rising by the day and he is currently unbeatable. If he ever wanted to fight and give the spectators a different type of performance, I would gladly accept.”

Later, when asked when he would face AKA, Nyovest poured fuel to the fire by stating, “Aka is the only guy who can make that fight happen.”
“I don’t see him doing it because he knows he’s in for a long night. The more he observes me fighting, the more he will generate terror. Should’ve accepted the first offer. Whenever he is able to doe. I will gladly give him a good spanking.”
