Cassper Nyovest lost sponsors and TV partners before Priddy Ugly

Ten days before his highly anticipated showdown against fellow rapper Priddy Ugly, Cassper Nyovest has stated that he has lost sponsors and TV partners.

On October 1, the Sun Bet Arena at Time Square Casino in the Capital City will host the boxing battle between Nyovest and Priddy Ugly.

The “Tito Mboweni” singer said in a long Instagram post that was published early on Tuesday that “With Sponsors and TV partners dropping out this battle it’s going to take a miracle to turn it around but I ain’t gave up just yet.”

Nyovest informed his followers that “instead of tossing and turning for hours,” he went for a run instead, so it appears that his spirit hasn’t been dampened despite the awful news.

Mufasa responded to a fan’s tweet asking where the programme would broadcast, confirming that SuperSport has ended its sponsorship.

@tatteddiplomat commented, “I hope this fight is going to air on SuperSport.”

“Nah. unavailable on SuperSport. Long story short, we lost the SS relationship, and because betting companies desire TV, it caused us to lose betting firm sponsorship.

“As it stands, only those who have purchased tickets to see the fight live will be able to watch it. No streaming or TV,” he stated in a another post.

In the run-up to the event, Mufasa said that if he lost against his most recent opponent, Priddy Ugly, he would stop boxing.

“I’ll be battling Priddy Ugly at Sun Arena on October 1st, which is in two weeks. I’ll never box again if I lose. After I defeat Big Zulu, I want to. Zulu doesn’t want a fight, so I’ll take the lead.” The celebrity tweeted, “Priddy Ugly, Oct. 1, Sun Arena.

On October 1st, which is in two weeks, I’ll be battling Priddy Ugly at Sun Arena. If I lose, I’ll never fight again; if I win, I want to face Big Zulu next. Since no one wants to fight Zulu, I will. First, though, Priddy Ugly on October 1 at Sun Arena! Buy your tickets now!

Although he pressed for a rematch after losing to singer and actor Anga “Naak Musiq” Makubalo in April at Sun City, the former “Isidingo” star rejected.

SuperSport, DStv Channel 209, carried the programme live.

In December 2021, Mufasa took against controversial YouTuber Slik Talk in his first celebrity boxing battle, which he won.

From September 30 to October 2, spectacular festivities and musical performances take place during the Celeb City Boxing exhibition bout.

On Twitter, Mufasa announced to his 4 million fans that he would release his newest song, “Pardon My Arrogance,” on Wednesday. “Cassper Nyovest didn’t have to go that hard!!!!” he wrote as the caption.
