Nate Shue, the son of Andrew Shue, appears to want to “move on” from the issue involving Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes now that the duo has left “GMA3.”
Saturday, the 26-year-old uploaded a GIF to his Instagram Stories of Jimmy Fallon saying, “Let’s just move on” (per Us Weekly).
ABC confirmed Nate’s stepmother’s departure from the third hour of the morning show along with her co-anchor-turned-lover the day before to the cryptic social media post.
“After several fruitful conversations with Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes about various options, we all agreed that it would be best for everyone if they left ABC News,” a network spokeswoman said in a statement released on Friday.
We acknowledge their ability and dedication throughout the years and are grateful for their contributions.
In an email received by Page Six later that day, ABC News president Kim Godwin referred to the co-hosts’ scandal as a “distraction” and commended the employees for their “patience and professionalism.”
Regarding the replacements for Robach and Holmes, the memo stated that an announcement will be made at a later date.
Friday in Los Angeles, Robach, 49, and Holmes, 45, appeared unconcerned by the drama as she was snapped straddling him.
In November 2022, the off-screen relationship between the journalists was revealed.
Robach’s divorce from Shue, whom she wed in 2010, is “almost finalized.”
Holmes, meantime, wed Marilee Fiebig in 2010, and the couple welcomed their daughter Sabine three years later.
In December 2022, the former CNN correspondent filed for divorce from Fiebig.
The 45-year-old attorney broke her silence via her divorce attorney, Stephanie Lehman, who stated that her client was “disappointed by T.J’s lack of discretion, respect, and sensitivity.”
Fiebig referred to Sabine, then 10, as her “sole focus.”
Throughout addition to his affair with Robach, Holmes allegedly dated multiple junior employees in 2015.
Holmes’s representatives have declined to comment on his alleged office liaisons.
