Earlier today, TMZ reported that T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach were seen kissing on a Florida beach. This appearance comes after they were caught holding hands at the Atlanta airport and eating lunch in New York City.
Yesterday, it was announced that Holmes filed for divorce from his wife of twelve years, Marilee Fiebig. It appears that this affair has evolved into a full-fledged relationship.
The last time Holmes and Robach broadcast GMA3: What You Need to Know was four weeks ago, and their third co-host, Dr. Jennifer Ashton, has been away on holiday in Hawaii.
Since the revelation of the dethroned anchors’ affair, GMA3’s noontime talk program has cycled through a succession of replacement hosts as the network launches an internal investigation into the couple’s activities.
Last week, fill-ins DeMarco Morgan and Rhiannon Ally swiftly won over audiences with their witty banter and personal experiences; however, this week’s performances have left fans unimpressed. On Twitter, Gio Benitez and Janai Norman have been described as “annoying” and “boring.”
Although ABC News Medical Contributor Dr. Darien Sutton, who has been stepping in for Ashton since December 19th, has won over the masses, with many describing him as “drool-worthy” and praising his scientific expertise, Ashton’s absence has not been felt. A fan said that he is “more refined, respectful, and articulate” than Ashton.

The two usual hosts of GMA3: What You Need To Know were absent from today’s broadcast, having last appeared on the talk show on December 2. Hopefully, they are basking in the sun in Miami, where temperatures are expected to approach eighty degrees today. In addition to their absence, Dr. Jennifer Ashton is on vacation in Hawaii during the holidays. When will she come back? We are still in the dark.

Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes have not appeared on GMA3: What You Need To Know in four weeks, yet their names are still present in the opening sequence. Before each broadcast, a narrator reads the phrase “Now, from Times Square, Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes with Dr. Jennifer Ashton and What You Need to Know.”
We suspect that their names will remain in the introduction until ABC announces a plan for future broadcasts. The network is currently rotating through replacements until the completion of the internal review.
