48-year-old Georgia congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene is divorced


Marjorie Taylor Greene, a 48-year-old Georgia congressman, and her husband are divorcing.

After 27 years of marriage, her husband Perry Greene filed for divorce on Tuesday.

While she was still a student at the University of Georgia, the couple wed in August 1995.

Three of the couple’s children are now adults and they have three children together.

Perry Greene claims that the couple had previously been separated, despite the fact that the divorce papers, as viewed by TMZ, do not specifically mention what caused the couple to part.

Additionally, he requests that the court divide their assets and obligations evenly.

Together, Perry and I formed our family and raised three wonderful children; he gave me the best job title you can ever earn: Mom/I’ll always be grateful for how great of a dad he is to our children. “Marriage is a wonderful thing and I’m a firm believer in it.

Our society is formed by a husband and wife creating a family to nurture and protect. Together, Perry and I formed our family and raised three great children.
