22-year-old Ohio daughter claims ex ‘changed’ following California trip

When her ex-boyfriend moved back from California, she says he “changed,” and she was forced to “block him off everything” during the breakup.

The woman whose father shot dead her ex-boyfriend as he tried to storm into their home revealed this.

James Rayl, 22, was shot three times by Michell Duckro, 52, when he unexpectedly turned up at their Ohio home on July 31.

Previously, Rayl dated Duckro’s daughter, 22, but the relationship ended a year and a half before the tragic event.

In addition, Allyson said that she had banned James from her social media following their breakup in 2019 because he was “just being a d***.”

I don’t know how he did it, but he smashed the glass in the door, she said to the policeman. The door frame came loose. He made an entrance.

Then, since I had no idea what to do, I panicked and fled.

I just heard the gunfire; I didn’t even see him fire it. I spent a lot of time hiding. I let out a lot of screams before actually freaking out.

I thought the was usually extremely pleasant, she continued. He was OK throughout high school, but after he returned from California, he changed completely.

Nobody wanted to cope with it when he began treating his close friends or anybody else like c***.

The night before the shooting, Rayl left his ex-girlfriend a message asking how she was doing.

Unarmed Rayl was fatally shot by Duckro through the front door of his home on North Kuther Road in horrifying Ring camera video.

Rayl may be seen attempting to enter the house, but Duckro shoots him after telling him to “James no, get off my porch” and “I have a pistol.”

Only his feet are seen on the video as he stumbles away from the door and then collapses on the property’s driveway.

After hearing “four or five” gunshots, neighbors can also be seen fleeing the area, but Rayl was left to bleed to death on the floor for at least seven minutes before law authorities came.

You can see Jeffery Hereford crossing the Duckro’s front yard while yelling “don’t shoot me” and “he don’t have no gun.”

After saying “he’s dead, he’s shot, and he ain’t moving,” he and two other people had a seven-minute discussion as Rayl was dying.

When they first were instructed not to approach because they believed he had a gun, Stacie said that the neighbors had already alerted the emergency services.

Her screams of “he attempted to get to our kid” and “he tried to break in” can then be heard.

Later, Hereford questioned, “Did you shoot him?” When they yelled “yes!” back at him, he said, “He’s not moving, he ain’t going nowhere,”

Two more neighbors may be seen waiting for the cops by standing about and gazing.

Before approaching Rayl’s corpse, they claimed “he’s hardly breathing, he’s having a hard time breathing” and “I don’t see any blood,” adding “he’s dead.”

Since the event, The Duckro’s $436,000 Ohio property has also been up for sale.
