Zamfara State Youths to Benefit from NDE Registration Exercise

The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) has announced plans to register unemployed youths in the 14 local government areas of Zamfara State.

The state coordinator of the NDE, Mohammed Umar Sanda, said that the registration exercise is scheduled to start on Monday, 17th April and run until 5th May 2023.

The registration will take place at the NDE state office in Tankin Ruwa, near Rabi’a jumuat mosque, Gusau, for those in Gusau and its environs, while those in other local government areas are expected to register at their respective councils’ secretariats.

Unemployed youths urged to register

The NDE coordinator has urged all unemployed youths in Zamfara State to take advantage of this opportunity to register themselves in their respective local government areas to benefit from the programme.

He also stated that the federal government wants to have accurate statistics of unemployed persons across the country to make a proper plan for them.

Among the details required for registration are the highest qualification, local government indegeneship, a valid means of identification (NIN), permanent home address, and contact phone number.
