YouTuber King Oumar disrupts university lecture to get a haircut

King Oumar, a popular YouTuber and influencer, is known for his eccentric videos and practical jokes, but a recent one did not sit well with social media viewers. The YouTuber, a University of Johannesburg accounting student, interrupted a lecture to get a haircut in the middle of the lesson.

King Oumar took his barber to his university lecture on Thursday, July 28 for a haircut, but the professor wasn’t very happy about it, as shown in the now-viral video tweeted by @bonganiii_. The instructor criticizes the YouTuber, calling his behavior “inappropriate.”

“What is this?” asked the lecturer. “I mean honestly, am I going to do my face in here?” asked the lecturer.

King Oumar and his barber were expelled from the classroom by the lecturer, who then continued with her course. More than 200 000 people have seen the video on Twitter since then.

Twitter users reacted negatively to King Oumar’s prank in the wake of the video, and several demanded that the YouTuber be expelled from the school.

“I’m actually so angry at this. It makes me so angry. To think how high university fees are only for someone to do this in class,” wrote one tweep.

“UJ should suspend this idiot,” wrote another tweep.

“How are people finding this funny?? It’s purely disrespectful.”

“This is disrespectful and I hope the university will take serious measures against him. He’s wasting other student’s time and being disruptive,”

On his YouTube channel, King Oumar has received over 13 million views, however some of his practical jokes are not warmly received.

The YouTuber searches for other students on campus, removes their earbuds, and then surprises them with headphones in one of his videos.
