During the quarterfinals of the U.S. Open on Tuesday night, two guys were removed from their seats in Arthur Ashe Stadium after one of them buzzed the other’s head. They carried clippers and a cape similar to those used by barbers to keep customers clean.
The security staff of the tournament pulled the two from the game.
“When security spotted it, they approached the two individuals. “They were removed out of their seats and off the grounds for disrupting play,” said Brendan McIntyre of the United States Tennis Association, adding, “There’s a first time for everything.”

The incident occurred between Nick Kyrgios and Karen Khachanov’s quarterfinal match, which lasted more than three hours and was won by Khachanov 7-5, 4-6, 7-5, 6-7, 6-4.
Kyrgios was unable to capitalize on his victory against defending champion Daniil Medvedev at Flushing Meadows, losing in a high-quality, unpredictable quarterfinal that began on Tuesday night and ended at almost 1:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Arthur Ashe Stadium.
Khachanov will compete against No. 5 Casper Ruud for a spot in the championship match on Friday.
In the quarterfinals on Wednesday, No. 3 Carlos Alcaraz will face No. 11 Jannik Sinner, and No. 9 Andrey Rublev will face No. 22 Frances Tiafoe, who stunned Rafael Nadal on Tuesday night.
None of the remaining eight men have won a major championship.
