Woman from Kzn kills husband

According to reports, a woman turned herself in to police two days after killing her husband in a quarrel at their Buffelsdale, KwaZulu-Natal, apartment (KZN).

Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) claims that when its members visited Buffelsdale on July 23, 2022, at around 18:11, they saw locals administering first treatment to a man who was profusely bleeding from a penetrating cut to his neck.

Soon later, paramedics from a private ambulance service arrived and stabilised the seriously hurt man before taking him to the hospital.

He died later that evening from his wounds.

The woman is accused of stabbing her husband in the neck with a knife during a violent altercation, according to Prem Balram, a spokesperson for RUSA.

After the event, she escaped the area but turned herself in to authorities on Monday.

A little child of the couple was allegedly there when the crime happened.

Man died due to cellphone

On Thursday of last week, a 19-year-old male was killed in the Emasayithini neighbourhood of Amaoti, KZN, during an argument over a stolen cellphone.

Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) claims that at at 21:16, its members were summoned to the scene.

Responding cops and medical personnel were dispatched very away, and when they arrived they found a male lying face down. Before First Responders arrived, he had been stabbed twice in the chest and had already died.

The dead is said to have been attacked by his companion after they robbed a member of the public of a telephone, according to the report.

Another 19-year-old man was shot and killed in Egodeni, close to Hazelmere, also in KZN, before having his smartphone stolen.

Prem Balram, a spokesman for RUSA, claims that they began receiving reports about the incident from locals at at 18:59. Aproximately 4 kilometres separate the incident and the Hazelmere Dam.
