Winner of a lotto-draw worth more $4.6million says he doesn’t know how to spend his win.

A Sydney man who won more than $4.6 million in a lottery draw is in “utter disbelief” after learning that he is now a multi-millionaire.

The Balmain man admitted he was “too busy” to check to see if he had won the Powerball drawing last Thursday despite having the solitary division one winning ticket.

The Sydney winner didn’t examine his ticket until Saturday morning, when he discovered he had won $4,645,700.55.

The man admitted to The Lott, “I checked my account on Friday morning, but I didn’t look at my Powerball entry.”

I was actually in the middle of buying a ticket for a different drawing.

“I didn’t realize the win until Saturday. My initial response was complete astonishment.

I was so excited that I had to sit down for a while because I feared I would pass out.

The man said he had yet to celebrate the win and added that, aside from getting a dog and taking his family on vacation, he had “no idea” what to do with his winnings.

Sincerely, I have no idea what to do, he admitted.

I simply need to give this some time to process over the next few days.

I have no idea what I’ll do after I take the family on a vacation abroad and purchase a family dog.

The winning 18-game QuickPick entry with the numbers 9, 8, 25, 7, 26, and 24 was purchased by the man online at thelott.com.

With 68 wins in NSW, The Lott’s division one winning total for the year has now reached 255.

14 Powerball division one winners from all throughout Australia took home more than $550.1 million in cash in 2021, which had three drawings for a $80 million jackpot.

Seven of the 14 entries that won prizes in 2021 were sent to NSW, four to Queensland, two to Victoria, and one to Western Australia.
