An Australian building company has collapsed owing $10.6million and leaving more than a hundred jobs on the line

A building company in Australia that owed $10.6 million and had over 100 open positions has shut down.

After 27 years of operation, the Fire Services Australia (FSA) Group, which provides contracting services for construction projects, entered voluntary administration last Wednesday.

The company was working on several projects, including electrical needs, mechanical installations, and fire protection. It has offices in NSW, QLD, WA, and the ACT.

There are currently 123 unemployed people in the country, and many employees are shocked by the company’s demise.

All of us at FSA are sad today. According to Curtis Lindsay, project manager for QLD FSA Services, last Wednesday was a day that not many people anticipated.

“Out of all the businesses I’ve worked for, this one felt the most like home.” Everyone, from the office staff to those on the ground, made time for one another.

I appreciate having the chance to work with so many folks who share my interests.

More will follow.
