Two ladies massacre in a gangland “assassination”

One of the two ladies killed in an “unprecedented” gangland “assassination” was married to one of Sydney’s most known gang bosses and was the ex-girlfriend of a 200kg standover guy and heroin dealer.

On Saturday night in Sydney’s west, Lamet Fadlallah, 48, was shot and died while sitting in a silver Toyota 4WD outside her home on Hendy St.

Amy Hazouri (pictured), 39, was in the same car and was also shot. She is believed to have been collateral damage

With three other individuals in the vehicle, including 39-year-old hairstylist Amy Hazouri, she had just had her hair done and was getting ready for a night out.

After the “planned assault,” a 16-year-old girl and a 20-year-old man miraculously avoided harm, although they remain “extremely frightened.”

CCTV showed a different car approaching the Toyota, then up to a dozen gunfire.

The Toyota then departed from the location where the 20-year-old and 16-year-old had requested assistance, travelling one kilometre.

Police think Ms. Fadlallah was the intended victim and Ms. Hazouri was collateral damage.

Ms. Fadlallah is known to have had a long history of relationships with mobsters and was once wed to Shadi Derbas in the 1990s.

Derbas had a significant role in the Telopea St Gang, which took its name from the Punchbowl, Western Sydney street that became notorious between 1998 and 2000 for being a hotbed of Middle Eastern gang activity.

More recently, Ms. Fadlallah was the longtime partner of criminal Helal Safi, who was discovered dead in a Sydney flat in January 2021 after having a heart attack. Helal Safi was a notorious figure in the underworld.

Strangely, the criminal lords switched partners, with Derbas getting married to Hilal, Safi’s ex-lover.

Detectives are looking into any connections between the two and other offenders Ms. Fadlalla may have known, as well as if she may have knowledge that others were trying to keep quiet.

She jumped immediately into life. She would carry the firearms for the lads, provide alibis when necessary, and socialise with criminals up until her death, according to a source in the underground who knew Ms. Fadlallah, who spoke to the Daily Telegraph.

Lam may have known too much since he was playing with the big guys.

Safi, 45, was arrested his October 2020 (pictured) on weapons charges

She always believed herself to be intelligent, but Sydney has never been in more danger. Killing women so blatantly is on another level.

Safi, her ex-husband, was discovered dead in his Pendle Hill, Stapleton Street apartment at the age of 45 and at a weight of 200 kg after a neighbour overheard him calling out for assistance at approximately 4 am.

Only a few weeks before to his release from jail, authorities discovered narcotics paraphernalia in the flat.

The “big” gangland player was feared in Sydney’s underworld and had deep ties to gangsters.

When he was imprisoned in 2010, the former bikie and Kings Cross bouncer endured 42 knife wounds.

He spent five months in a coma as a result of his wounds; according to the authorities, his stature was the only reason he survived.

Det Insp. Doherty referred to Saturday’s shooting as “unprecedented” since it violated a “unwritten rule” that women and families were off-limits in Sydney’s underworld.

According to him, police would do all it took to apprehend the offenders.

“This is a heinous assault on two ladies. Their lives have been gone. It occurred on a Sydney public street and was a premeditated murder, or assassination, in reality, he claimed.

By every measure, that is unacceptable. It truly is unprecedented. And we’re committed to finding the solutions for the family.

They don’t care whether you’re a man or a woman.

The fact that all rulebooks have been discarded is worrying.

After the gunfire, three vehicles sped down the street, according to one eyewitness, who subsequently saw police arrive.

The two men exited the first police vehicle, which brought about a state of calm, he said.

“Right instantly, everything became tranquil.” After getting out of the automobile, these two police officers started working on the woman. They gave her their all.

In the nearby suburbs, three burned-out automobiles were discovered; they are all now undergoing forensic analysis.

Three Mercedes were discovered: one in Wattle Grove, one in Yagoona, and one burned-out shell of a Mercedes in Revesby.

In the centre of a gangland conflict in Sydney is Panania and the neighbouring neighbourhood of Revesby.

The fact that two ladies died in an incident that was unheard of should appal us all deeply. Whether there are connections to organised crime or not, that is what the inquiry is looking into, according to Mr. Doherty.

We are addressing this on its own merits since there is no indication that there are any connections to the ongoing war. The motivation is yet unknown. That information is necessary.

The Homicide Squad and local area command have created many crime scenes around the region, and they are jointly conducting investigations.

Police are urging anybody with information, a dashcam, or CCTV to get in touch.
