In the TikTok, the tradesman (pictured) exclaims, 'Look at the workmanship, it is just f**king garbage,' and 'in the apartment nothing is straight'

He identified numerous defects, ranging from faulty doors to an unsealed shower.

A dissatisfied tiler criticized badly constructed new residences, stating, “nothing is straight and the finish work is sloppy.”

In a video uploaded to TikTok by Monkey8u, a tradesman explores freshly completed Sydney apartments to demonstrate several defects.

The craftsman moves from room to room with a Schweppes lemonade in hand, pointing out difficulties that begin in the foyer.

He then displayed how the doors were asymmetrical and emphasized the building’s general lack of craftsmanship.

The focus of the film is a ‘completed’ bathroom with an unsealed shower and no grout between the tiles.

In the Tik Tok, the tradesman shouts, “Brand-new apartments in Sydney are crooked and poorly finished.”

“Look at the craftsmanship, it’s utter crap,” he said.

Nothing in the apartment is straight.

He continued by asking, “Why do people squander their money on these apartments?”

The tradesman (left) yells in the Tik Tok, “Look at the handiwork, it’s f**king rubbish!” and “nothing is straight in the residence.”

After taking aim at the doors, which he claims will squeak in the wind, he turned his attention to the painting.

He added, “Look at the paint, it seems like a child did it.”

They are stealing people’s money to construct this garbage.

Today, this is the standard in Sydney.

The tiler stated that the entire construction sector is in need of a makeover because most residences in the city are made in a similar manner.

He stated, “If someone want to build apartments and take people’s money, there should be security.”

Viewers of the Tik Tok video were disgusted by the terrible craftsmanship, with numerous people stating that they were in similarly substandard flats.

“This appears to be my home.” One user said, “I live in a brand-new building; I removed a 3M hook and it ripped a hole in the gypsum board; the walls are like paper, it’s a joke.”

And they’ll rent them out for $750 per week and never fix any of the problems that develop, taking the renters’ security deposit instead, said another.

“Nothing is straight in my place,” remarked a third.

“I appreciate your sharing this. People need to be alert because this is becoming a major issue due to the proliferation of units,’ wrote a fourth.

It is unknown which apartment in Sydney the tradesman was in.
