On September 1, Nedd Brockmann departed Cottlesloe Beach in Perth for Cottlesloe Beach in Sydney. Since then, he has run an astounding 100 kilometers every day to traverse the 4,000 kilometers to Bondi.

Mr. Brockmann, 23 years old, is also on target to raise approximately $1,300,000 for the homeless nonprofit We Are Mobilize.

According to his Instagram account, he burns roughly 8,000 calories every day with his daily running.

In addition to Sour Patch Kids and Krispy Kreme doughnuts, the electrician enjoys Sour Patch Kids and Krispy Kreme to fuel a run that has made headlines not only in Australia but also abroad.

Mr. Brockmann’s trip has been everything but trouble-free.

During the cross-country trek, he sustained multiple injuries, including acute tenosynovitis – tendon inflammation – in his shins, large blisters, and maggots in his toes.

The man from Forbes in the middle west of New South Wales only began running in 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown.

On Monday morning, Mr. Brockmann posted on Instagram that he was looking forward to crossing the finish line.
