TikTok review on Sydney’s night noodle markets

After spending $63 on seven doughnuts and spending too much time waiting for poor food, a Sydney gourmet has criticized the renowned Night Noodles Market as not being “worth the hype.”

On Wednesday, Brandon Nguyen posted a video recapping the marketplaces that vanished from Sydney for two years because to the Covid epidemic.

His favorite purchase at the festival, two pork belly skewers for $16, used as the opening for the film.

They were really rather nice, but from this point forth, Mr. Nguyen stated.

His next purchase was a box of $23 “flying noodles,” which consisted of long noodles that were piled over a fork to seem to be floating.

He said, “These noodles are truly just all show and no substance.”

It tasted so odd, it really depressed me.

The most underwhelming dish of the evening, according to him, was a pair of satay chicken rolls up that required an hour-long wait and were cooked from “frozen” bread.

Mr. Nguyen most recent purchase was a package of nine doughnuts for a staggering $63.

Hundreds of people have flooded the event's social media pages to complain about the management of the event, from cancelling nights because of wet weather during an unseasonably rainy spring to massively long lines

He said, “The doughnuts were delicious, but not $9 per nice.”

In the comments section of the video, many complimented Mr. Nguyen for his candid assessment and shared their own market experiences.

I used to adore it! There are just too many people there, and the wait times are crazy,’ said one viewer of the video.

‘When we saw how long the lines were, we fled. This supports our decision,” a another commenter said.

Another person said, “Nooooo, it used to be fantastic four years ago.”

Prince Alfred Park in Surry Hills is hosting the Sydney Noodles Night Market until Sunday, with variable open hours.

Due to the bad weather, the market was postponed on Wednesday and Thursday. Organizers advised attendees to visit their Facebook page for updates.

The Night Noodle Markets have been approached by Daily Mail Australia for comment.
