King Viserys, who had two fingers severed on the program, wore green screen fabric on his hand while handing a message to a courier in episode three.
This isn’t the first time the “Thrones” franchise has made an editing error. A Starbucks coffee cup made it into the episode’s final edit in 2019.

The third episode of the “Game of Thrones” spinoff “House of the Dragon” had unedited green screen on a character’s fingers, continuing the series’ pattern of visual errors.
King Viserys (Paddy Considine) sliced his finger on the iron throne in the premiere episode of the franchise prequel series. He had his pinky and ring fingers removed after the wound refused to heal.
However, in episode three, the King’s two missing fingers may be seen wrapped in green screen on his left hand when he relays a message to a messenger.
The note is intended for Daemon, the King’s brother, portrayed by Matt Smith.
As of Wednesday morning, the sequence had not been changed to remove the green fingers.
This is not the first time editing errors have crept into HBO’s blockbuster.
During the 2019 season finale of “Game of Thrones,” a contemporary coffee cup was observed on a dining table.
HBO’s comment at the time was: “In response to inquiries from viewers who noticed a craft services coffee cup in Sunday night’s episode of ‘Game of Thrones,’ the latte that appeared was an error. Daenerys requested a herbal tea.”
The HBO Max representatives did not immediately react to Insider’s request for comment on the most recent small error.
