The five most valuable players for Kaizer Chiefs

The five most valuable players for Kaizer Chiefs

The ranking of Kaizer Chiefs’ “most valuable players” has changed a bit as a result of the team’s strengthening in preparation for the 2022–2023 season.

Sifiso Hlanti, at R11.4 million

He recently made a full recovery from the long-term injury, and it appears that he has taken back the left-back spot that was previously held by Reeve Frosler, a right-back.

Since the start of the season, the left-footer, 32, has made five appearances across all leagues.

Hlanti transferred from Swallows to Amakhosi in 2021 and has since made a total of 13 appearances for the team.

Fourth, Siyethemba Sithebe ($13.6 million)

Sithebe left AmaZulu before the start of this year, and he later signed with the Glamour Boys as a free agent.

He quickly won Arthur Zwane’s trust and has established himself as a main midfielder.

The midfielder, who was born in Newcastle, has so far made 10 appearances across all competitions.

Zitha Kwinika: R13.6 million.

At the start of the season, Kwinika rejoined his old team after leaving Stellenbosch FC.

He joined the club’s development squads while he was a youngster, was promoted in 2014, and then left the organization in order to join Chippa United in 2016.

The 28-year-old has made 10 appearances in all competitions since re-joining the Soweto giants.

Khama Billiat: 21.1 million

Since shockingly leaving Mamelodi Sundowns as a free agent in 2018, when he became a Glamour Boy, Billiat hasn’t performed at his best.

Before suffering an injury that forced him to miss four games of the 2022–23 season, the 32-year-old had a rough start to the campaign.

During his time with Naturena, he has made 121 appearances and scored 24 goals.

Keagan Dolly: $22.3 million

For Amakhosi, Dolly is the most important player. Even if he hasn’t been at his best since donning the Gold and Black, he has helped the team, especially when it comes to scoring and setting up goals.

In his 38 games for the Chiefs while wearing the Sundowns jersey, the former Sundowns winger had 10 goals and five assists.
