The appalling moment a pair of EasyJet workers are attacked by ‘intoxicated’ passengers at Bristol Airport before a flight to Alicante

This horrifying incident, which occurred while the continuing travel turmoil in Britain continued, involved an irate traveler attacking two airport employees.

As they waited to board an easyJet flight from Bristol to Alicante, the commotion broke out between the man and a woman who appears to be his girlfriend.

According to Somerset and Avon Police, a lady, 37, and a man, 39, who were both intoxicated, were handed conditional cautions after being interviewed and then arrested on suspicion of assault.

The woman is seen on camera yelling and gesticulating toward employees wearing hi-vis jackets.

The man then rushes towards the two workers, pushing his own partner aside as shocked onlookers gasp.

They both end up on the ground when he punches one and instantly knocks the other one over.

However, as they continue to argue loudly, the tourist and the employee appear to be being restrained by a different man wearing a t-shirt.

Since being shared on Twitter, the video has received almost 90,000 views.

According to an Avon and Somerset Police spokeswoman, officers stationed at Bristol Airport were called to a report of an assault on security personnel at around 9.30 p.m. on June 17 after two passengers were refused boarding because they were inebriated.

On suspicion of assault, police detained a 39-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman. Both of them underwent interviews before receiving conditional warnings.

Antisocial, violent, or threatening behavior will not be tolerated by Bristol Airport or airlines, a representative for the airport told The Sun.

Even though these kinds of instances are uncommon, we treat them seriously and will fully cooperate with any police inquiry.
