Amakhosi presently has three of the PSL’s highest-paid players in its squad.
This past season, however, their PSL campaign did not reflect this player value. Chiefs have lost their FOURTH game in a row, and their CAF Champions League dreams have slipped through their fingers. Surprisingly, ONE of Naturena’s top earners may not return next season.
KEAGAN DOLLY – R1.45 MILLION
The only player in PSL history to earn more than R1 MILLION a month – and comfortably too!
Dolly is the highest-paid DStv Premiership player – even beating the leagues top goal-scorer Peter Shalulile. His whopping R1.45 MILLION is truly staggering – imagine his house and cars!
2) SAMIR NURKOVIC – R950 000
Nurkovic is still one of the PSL’s top earners, with a monthly salary of approximately R1 million!
Despite missing big sections of the season with Amakhosi, the Serbian striker earns R950 000 per month. There’s a good probability he’ll depart Naturena for Pitso Mosimane and Percy Tau next season.
As a result, the Chiefs would be able to devote a significant portion of their available funds to future stars.
The next player on the list was previously the PSL’s highest-paid player.
3) KHAMA BILLIAT – R830 000
Amakhosi has a contract with Billiat until June 2023. That means, his services have been secured till the end of the next DStv Premiership. His services are extremely expensive, costing R830 000 a month!
Billiat’s last PSL season could be next year, and Amakhosi will like to see him complete his career at Naturena.
He was outstanding for Mamelodi Sundowns this season, displaying glimpses of his real potential. He scores key goals, and few teams can stop him and Dolly when they’re on their game.
