Ron DeSantis’ new “Top Gov” ad calls “corporate media” a “maverick.”

In a brand-new campaign commercial that portrays Florida Governor Ron DeSantis as a “Maverick,” DeSantis engages in political scuffles with reporters.

On a day when Casey DeSantis is on the ballot without having a primary opponent, Tuesday, the first lady of Florida and former TV journalist tweeted out the new internet advertisement.

DeSantis is now working to discredit possible Democratic opponents in Florida, despite some senior Republican Party members hope that he would don the armour for what would be a physical fight against former President Donald Trump for the 2024 presidential nomination.

In the advertisement, DeSantis is shown instructing recruits off-screen in “taking on the corporate media” while wearing a bomber jacket and sunglasses.

The ‘rules of engagement,’ a military word for combat, are then explained in relation to accepting incoming from reporters.

“Don’t shoot unless fired upon.” However, you respond to their fire with overwhelming power,’ argues DeSantis.

DeSantis worked as a Navy JAG lawyer rather than a fighter pilot in real life, although he was sent to Iraq and to the military facility at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

He promoted the advertisement in a speech, claiming that his kid, who appears in the film, is the true “Maverick” and a fan of fighter jets.

He, not I, is Maverick. He goes by Maverick. Every time we discuss it, he makes it very plain,’ added DeSantis.

He said that the idea for the advertisement originated from his wife. Well, I believe that my wife had originally considered it. Because when you mention dog fighting, people ask, “OK, so what is our dog fighting?” He said that it dealt with corporate press.

In the advertisement, there are snippets of DeSantis arguing with reporters and interrupting them during press conferences.

“Does it appear in the bill?”

The reporter adds, “I’m asking you.”

DeSantis chastises, “I’m asking you to tell me what’s in the bill.”

It was a brief excerpt from a conversation in March during which a reporter questioned him about the infamous “Don’t Say Gay” policy, which forbids discussion of gender identity in Florida schools’ youngest grades.

The “Don’t Say Ga” law, as it was known by its detractors, was the subject of the reporter for WFLA’s opening statement.

Nikki Fried, the state agriculture commissioner, will compete in a primary against Rep. Charlie Crist and two other candidates for the chance to take on DeSantis in November. During the interview, DeSantis had harsh words for Fried.

He is removing a woman’s freedom of choice. He is restricting free expression. He is robbing us of the chance to instruct students in our classrooms. Fried saw the governor’s actions as tyranny rather than freedom.

He said that “we stood in the way of lock-down supporters like Nikki Fried who opposed every choice I made to defend people’s rights.”

And when she says that you don’t have free expression in the classroom, take her meaning seriously. She wants to indoctrinate her beliefs onto pupils by using our schools. And when it comes to schools, our stance is that they should be used to teach children rather than indoctrinate them, he said.

After several media pundits said DeSantis had started standing, walking, and even gesturing like Donald Trump, an advertisement with him donning a flying suit was released.
