Princess Anne stated that she was with Queen Elizabeth II during her final twenty-four hours.

In a heartfelt homage to her mother, Princess Anne told Insider that it was a “honor and privilege” to join her on her final excursions.

Princess Anne stated, “Seeing the love and respect exhibited by so many on these excursions has been both humbling and motivating.” “We will all share distinct memories, and I would want to express my gratitude to everyone who shares our sense of loss.”

Princess Anne stated that she is “grateful for the support and understanding” provided to her older brother, King Charles III, as he succeeds their mother as Monarch.

“Thank you to my mother, The Queen,” Princess Anne concluded.

Queen Elizabeth II passed away on Thursday at her Balmoral estate. The reason of death has not been disclosed.

Already, lines to view her coffin, which landed in England on Tuesday, are forming. The public will have access to Westminster Hall from Wednesday till Monday, when the Queen’s funeral will take place at Westminster Abbey.
