Prince Charles finds Harry and Meghan’s criticisms “painful,” sources claim

According to sources, Prince Charles is “totally confused” by Harry and Meghan’s behaviour and considers their jabs at the royal family to be “painful.”

Close friends of the royals have retaliated against the ‘tragic and delusional’ couple and claimed that their animosity has taken a ‘toll’ on the Queen over the past few years.

People who know the Prince of Wales claim that he has been hurt by his son and daughter-in-repeated law’s criticism of the royal family in words and deeds.

Last week, tensions increased after Meghan said in an interview that the Sussexes had to move across the Atlantic because “by existing, we were upsetting the dynamic of the hierarchy.”

Speaking to the US publication The Cut, she also said that her husband had “lost” his father; however, sources close to the couple say this wasn’t a reference to Prince Charles but rather her estrangement from her own father.

The future king is allegedly especially hurt after spending time with Harry, Meghan, and his grandchildren Archie and Lilibet during the Platinum Jubilee in June.

Following the shocking Oprah Winfrey interview in 2021 in which Harry said he felt “really let down” by his father, Charles is said to have viewed their time together as a “minor act of reparation.”

According to a friend who spoke to the Sunday Times, the Prince’s reputation has been damaged by public statements made about him and the royal family as well.

“For two years, there has been a steady stream of really challenging things said about a man who cannot [publicly] defend himself by a couple he clearly loves and misses,” the friend claims.

“On a personal level, that is incredibly difficult.” He is absolutely perplexed as to why his son, whom he loves dearly, believes that this is the best way to handle family matters.

Sources close to Prince William claim that he is less upset by the jokes than his father and that he isn’t really giving it much thought.

The Duke of Cambridge is not thought to be looking forward to the publication of Harry’s memoirs, which will be released at an undisclosed time and could ratchet up tensions even further.

This comes after Meghan’s interview with The Cut last week caused a fresh rift to appear between the Sussexes and the rest of the Royal Family.

The Duchess of Sussex claimed she had been compared to South African hero Nelson Mandela and that Harry had “lost” his father Charles during Megxit at the same time as the release of her new Spotify podcast.

Before she and Harry stepped down as senior working royals, Meghan said in a lengthy interview with The Cut that was over 6,000 words long that they were “just by existing” “upsetting the dynamic of the hierarchy.”

She also implied that she can’say anything’ because she did not sign any confidentiality agreements with the royal family and added that it takes ‘a lot of effort’ to forgive.

Sources in the royal community have since retaliated against the couple, calling their rants against working-class life “delusional” and “tragic,” and sensationally asserting that they will continue to “rail against the system as much as they still do” even after Megxit in order to maintain public and thus commercial interest in their “brand.”

The simmering Transatlantic “cold war” between the Windsors and the Sussexes reached a boiling point today when enraged Palace sources called Harry and Meghan (seen in 2017) “delusional” for criticising the monarchy “because it is good for business.”

According to sources, the Queen (seen in June), 96, does not “want to be on tenterhooks” and continuously waiting for the “next nuclear explosion,” as she has reportedly withdrawn from a number of public engagements in recent months due to chronic health concerns.

Additionally, the couple’s activities seem to go against the public statement they made in January 2020 after agreeing to leave the royal family and pledging that “whatever they do would continue to honour the principles of Her Majesty.”

Harry handed up his military postings and their government financing was stopped at the ‘Sandringham Summit,’ enabling them to go to the United States and secure multi-million dollar contracts with companies like Spotify and Netflix.

The Sussexes are still’much-loved’ by the royal family, the Queen has said frequently.

However, one insider told the Sunday Times that it was difficult to see how what they were doing would be consistent with the Queen’s principles since she has never urged individuals to disclose their highly private family ties in front of others.

One more asserted Her Majesty, who is now 96 and has cancelled a number of public appearances in recent months due to chronic health concerns, said she does not “want to be on tenterhooks” and waiting for the “next nuclear explosion” all the time.

When Mail Online questioned her communications team about the comments made by palace insiders, they refused to respond. An inquiry was not immediately answered by a Sussexes spokeswoman.

A portion of New York magazine’s The Cut received a shocking interview with The Duchess of Sussex.

In a Christmas card published on December 23, 2021, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are shown with Archie daughter Lilibet.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex could have already returned to the UK for the first time since their trip back for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

The pair was said to have arrived in the UK on Saturday morning, according to reports last night. Hello! magazine said the couple had taken a commercial flight and didn’t seem to be travelling with their children Archie and Lilibet.

Before departing for Germany to commemorate the one-year countdown to the Invictus Games, Harry and Meghan will visit a youth meeting in Manchester tomorrow and the WellChild awards in London on Thursday.

They are only a few hundred feet away from Prince William and Kate, but there are “no arrangements” for them to meet with them.

Their arrival date and timing had not been announced, but they were anticipated to come as soon as Saturday and set up camp at their Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.

According to a source who spoke to The Sunday Times, the Queen has had “a busy summer with plenty of guests and has been out picnicking,” therefore it is doubtful that they will pay her a visit at Balmoral.

Due to the strained connections between the Sussexes and the rest of the royal family, it is said that there are “no preparations” for them to go the short distance of 380 feet to Adelaide Cottage to reconcile the brothers.

According to royal insiders, there are worries that as part of their rumoured $100 million Netflix contract, the pair would travel to the UK with a film team.

According to a reliable source, trust is a major problem right now.
