Police ask for help from public to locate missing woman

The police are asking for help from the public to locate a woman who has been missing since Sunday (February 26) from the Crestmead area. Gemma Pickering, 26 years old, was last seen by her family at an Oxley property around 6:30 pm. Gemma is of First Nations descent, approximately 160 centimetres tall, with a proportionate build, black hair, and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing olive-coloured shorts and a maroon football shirt with ‘deadly choices’ written on it.

According to reports, Gemma is believed to be in the Logan, Gold Coast, or South Brisbane area and could be travelling in a black Holden Commodore with Queensland registration number 287DF9. She is also possibly accompanied by a 28-year-old man and two children. Police and family are worried as her disappearance is out of character.

The police are urging Gemma, or anyone with information about her whereabouts, to come forward. It is a critical time to find her; any help the public can provide will be much appreciated.
